An annoymous person dialed 911 from an apartment complex pay phone claiming dozens of people were locked up inside a small 2-bedroom apartment. When police arrived they discovered 30-illegal immigrants inside. Police told me it appeared most had not eaten in days, and many were dehydrated. Four of them were taking to nearby hospitals for treatment. Two men that allegedly smuggled them from south of the border were taken to jail. The remaining illegal immigrants were put on a large bus owned and operated by Immigration Customs, and Enforcement, (ICE) and taken to a detention center by Intercontinental Airport. They were locked up. It was weird to watch because ironically while these handcuffed immigrants were being loaded onto the bus, dozens and dozens of people that live in the apartment complex watched. And many of “them” I was told are illegal.
