Two shot, 1 killed outside apartment complex
May 22, 2007
A man was shot to death just after midnight Tuesday at an apartment complex at Edgemoore and Bellaire.
Three men were talking at the Pelican Apartments when neighbors said they heard a gunshot.
A second gunshot was heard, and then a neighbor saw one of the three men running away.
One man died at the scene, and the other was taken to Ben Taub Hospital.
Houston police are looking for the third man.

I hear everyone moaning about the overnight killings.
Who is out, running around in the middle of the night on a weekday?
There should be a curfew for all age groups. No loitering by ANYBODY after midnight. You should be in bed, getting a good night’s sleep, for the WORKDAY coming up.

Ok Hitlers’ cousin, great idea. Anyone else for giving up freedoms. Not everyone works days with weekends off like I do, someone has to man the Taco Bell when I get the munchies.

just a suggestion. i think in addition to 911, emergency email account should be set up for neighborhoods. by so doing, a concerned citizen, eye witness can report or rather give a detailed info. on any suspicious activities he or she observes. in that way, an early investigation can be initiated.

They have that already, it’s called NOW – neighbors on watch. In some places it’s called COPS- citizens on patrol. Cops hate that crap, but on TV or on record they must endorse it. Why? Because the average citizen was calling all ^%*$ing night about the most ridiculous things. It was horrible, you could never tell the real calls from the ones about someones’ cat pooping in their yard. I’m serious, actual call about the cat.

Drug users and dealers are the singular cause of all these shootings. Taco Bell runs are fun, but think about buying some kevlar if you like hanging around these druggie areas late at night.

Yes, most neiborhoods are looking into getting involved with programs such as citizen’s on patrol, I know we are getting involved since I am the one bringing it onto our complex. Yes, we have great suggestions on the way we will handle our cases of when it will be nessassary to call police for back up all information taken by the citizen will also be e-mailed to me directly so that I can get an account of the calls for what they were. By doint it this way we can’t see who are those trouble makers late at night and get them evicited from our complexes. There is a lot of helpful ideas on this website to help you 1. protect yourselves and love ones. 2. what percautions to take to help you achive the best protection. 3. what to look for when entering and exiting your home. Put them into practice and you’ll see that there won’t be calls to the police department for stupit things rather emergencies.
