Two thieves rob a bank on West University Place

Around 10:25 on the morning December 10, 2008, two males entered the Compass Bank on Rice Blvd in West University Place. One male approached the lone teller working the counter the other male waited a few steps behind. The male at the counter handed the teller a note that stated he had a gun and demanded money, he also told the teller he had a gun. The teller than gave the man some cash and both suspects fled on foot to a waiting car.


The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, a medium build and between 30 to 35 years old. He is around 6’2″ to 6’3″ tall and weighs approximately 190 to 200 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue or black hooded jacket with several layers of clothing underneath. He wore a black beanie, black gloves and large framed sunglasses. He was unshaven and smelled liked cigarettes.


The second suspect is described as a male with a medium brown complexion, a thin build and was between 20 to 25 years old. He was around 5’5″ to 5’6″ tall. He was clean shaven and wore a multi-colored tan layered coat with an orange and brown baseball cap. He also wore designer sunglasses with diamond chips on the side.
