Police have caught one of two suspects charged in connection with the armed robberies of two different Wells Fargo Bank branches in Northeast Houston.

Benjamin Sutton III, 30, and Paul Samuel Manning,33, have been charged for their alleged involvement in the recent robberies of the two banks. Sutton was arrested Friday at a motel on the Eastex Freeway, but Manning remains on the loose.

Anyone having information about the whereabouts of Manning is asked to contact the Houston office of the FBI at (713) 693-5000.

According to allegations in the criminal complaint,Sutton entered the bank and placed a firearm to the head of a bank security guard, threatening to kill him if bank tellers did not meet his demand for money. After tellers filled a plastic bag provided by Sutton with more than $20,000, Sutton fled the bank in a black Ford Excursion.
