The suspect is 29-year-old Gamaliel Gonzalez.

Houston police said the victim, 26-year-old Erica Ann Garcia, was on her way home from the TOC bar when a group of men, and perhaps one woman, followed her in a black Hummer.

They pulled along side her near St. Joseph’s Parkway and opened fire, hitting her. She continued driving, but crashed up onto the curb at Pierce.

Even though she’d stopped close to Houston fire station No. 8, Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
