Stolen car recovered after short chase

Houston police recovered a stolen car early Monday morning, but the suspect is on the run.
Around 1:15 a.m., HPD got a call about a suspicious vehicle in an apartment complex near Wayside and Tidwell.
When HPD pulled around the corner, unknown suspects took off running.
The officer lost sight of the suspects, so a K-9 unit was called to the scene. No one was taken into custody, and HPD towed away the vehicle.
