The 36-year-old baby sitter accused of leaving her friend’s child in a hot car last week was in court Monday.

Juliet Castillo’s hearing was reset, however.
Prosecutor said Castillo left the child in a black car with the windows rolled up for 30 to 40 minutes.
Some Good Samaritans eventually freed the child, who was taken to the hospital, treated and released.
Castillo claims she was rushing her mother to a doctor’s appointment and left the girl alone on accident.
She faces child endangerment charges.

Someone should take the babysitter and lock her up in a dark car for the day….by accident of course.

Did she make a BIG mistake? You betcha and she will have to face consequences for it. But until you walk in her shoes and deal with what she has to deal with on a daily basis, who are you to judge?

I hope I never walk in her shoes. I think most people who have common sense would not lock a child in a car.
Don’t judge her? Please! That is exactly what all parents who care for their children should do! How do you just forget a child in a car for 30-40 minuites. Let’s face it, there are many on this earth who should never be allowed to have children or care for them!

Who am I to judge? I am a Mother of two children, that’s who. A full-time working Mother who at one time had to depend on a “babysitter” to care for my children while I worked to support them. It is a serious job, watching someone’s kids — you don’t just space out and leave them in a car, or anywhere for that matter, unattended. NO EXCUSES.

I can understand you all judging her, but being a person who knows her I can tell you that you are all wrong. And if you didn’t notice the media keeps extending the time that Rianna was in there. The media tells you what they want, they make you believe what they want you to believe, I feel sorry for all of you.

Well, this lady watched my son as well. He’s 4 yrs old…and I get sick to my stomach thinking about what I would do if it were my lil’ boy in that car. HOWEVER, i do personally know this woman, and am positive to say that this was not intentional. she was a loving person, and although i believe she needs to pay for her carelessness, i can’t imagine the guilt she feels for putting that lil’ girls life in danger…not to mention losing the trust of all us parents. she has a family herself, and now she’s in between a rock and a hard place…i’m sure she’s learned her lesson, and i hope she can get on her feet soon enough. we should all just be glad that the lil’ girl is OK…
