Thursday at Sedona had a great turnaout and a fabulous band. OK, the band. Could it get any weirder……. Weird is good! We spent a little time inside the leather shop and then went out to join the crowds gathering in the plaza and on the sidewalk. People were friendly and so much fun. The Hitching Post opened up very early to serve the crew breakfast. They were so very nice, they let us even eat in the restaurant. Normally we have to eat breakfast outside or in the RV – where it gets a bit crowded. Buffalo Don was quite a guy and if you get to his shop he has pictures and memorabilia from his honorable service to our country on display. Give him a big thank you and try some of that buffalo jerky. It really is delish. Great to see the folks from “Sedona Now’ again. They are always a joy to run into, and fun to have on our show to talk about their show.
The Amara was once again wonderful and now that Ivan Flowers, a regular chef on Good Day Arizona from the Different Pointe of View, is the Executive Chef there, it made for a very special dining experience. You have GOT to try the lobster bisque! The wine list is incomparable. They had a wine tasting in the evening, and I don’t think you can get a bad glass there.
