Howard Paul Guidry was convicted as the triggerman in the 1994 shooting death of Farrah Fratta.

A judge overturned Guidry’s previous conviction ruling that he had been tricked into confessing.

Fratta was the wife of former Missouri City public safety officer, Robert Fratta.

He was convicted and sentenced to die for hiring someone to kill his wife.

The sentencing part of Guidry’s case will begin Monday.
