February 27, 2007
A man who led officers on a chase is in the hospital because officers believed he swallowed drugs.
Precinct 7 deputies tried to pull over the man in southwest Houston because his headlights were off.
That’s when the suspect and led deputies to his apartment complex off Beltway 8 and Beechnut.
When he was arrested, officials say he was combative and foaming at the mouth.
