Pedestrian hit crossing Highway 6

A man was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene on Highway 6 at Point Northwest late Thursday night.

Deputies believe the driver had to have known he hit something. No one saw what type of vehicle hit the man, so they are asking for help from the public.

The victim was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
