Man suspected of exposing himself to girls arrested

December 10, 2007

Police have arrested a man they believe targeted young girls in July.

His picture has not been released because authorities want to put him in a line up.

But they say 21-year-old Joseph Prendki III exposed himself to young girls he would see jogging or riding their bikes.

He’s charged with indecency with a child.

Bad person

Posted by: Anonymous at December 12, 2007 7:54 AM

We know the family and Joey and he is not a bad person. People need to check all the FACTS before passing judgement. We will pray and help the family through this difficult time.

Why hasn’t this story made the major news circuit? This supposedly happened in the Spring Valley/Memorial area – how has this stayed out of the news?

Posted by: Anonymous at December 13, 2007 6:54 PM

I know all the FACTS – and by the way he confessed.

If he weren’t a bad person he wouldn’t be exposing himself to young girls! This kind of behavior can leads to worse crimes if not stopped, such as rape and even murder so I am glad they caught this pervert!

please let this one stay off the pages. not enough info available to ruin someone’s rep in this manner. you don’t have any facts and if you did, the parents can handle it. go find some genuine perps. I’ve been through this before on different charges, and it sucked. any help is offered if needed. GFSBs

I am one of his victims. I do feel for his family but I believe this man needs help. He is an adult and should face the consequences of his actions.

This is the beginning of dangerous behavior. Treat appropriately or risk sexual assualt of a child…or more than one, if it hasn’t happened already.

How could you say he is not a bad person!!! Look at what he did! Put him on the news. He is a high risk sex offender!!! He’s old enough to know what he did!!!

I’ve been trying to catch this pervert for some time now. My son and daughter ride there bikes all the time in spring branch parks. Give him the punishment!!!

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I KNOW HIM!CREEPY!

Just because someone is caught flashing someone doesnt make them a rapist, child molester, peeping tom, or
murderer. Flashing someone falls under criminal mischief. And if caught after a flashing, doesn’t make you guilty of every single flashing that ever took place in the history of Spring Valley!

Posted by: anonymous at December 28, 2007 12:58 PM

If flashing is criminal mischief, why is he charged with indecency with a child? This guy does not discriminate when it comes to his victims. It seems that he can’t decide whether it is a young child riding a bicycle (Spring Valley) or a 50-year-old woman jogging (Piney Point) that he is most interested in exposing himself to. Also, does exposing yourself to someone then driving a few blocks further and stopping to wait for the same person in order to expose youself again sound like a mischievous incident?
