According to the Houston Police Department, 30-year-old Marco Urbina and his roommate were walking south on Atwell when a pickup truck approached them.
The armed passenger got out and demanded their wallets. Police said that’s when Urbina and his roommate started running, and then he was shot.
The suspects fled north and are believed to be in the Gulfton area.
The shooter is 22 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall, and weighs 170 pounds, with short black hair.
They were seen in a gray or white older model pickup truck, with a six inch yellow stripe in the middle of the truck running from front to rear bumper.
