Man killed in drive-by shooting

A man was shot once in the chest and killed in a drive-by early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. at Schuler and Thompson in the Heights.
Several witnesses said a man in a Monte Carlo drove by and fired six times. The victim was only hit once, but he died at Ben Taub Hospital.
