It happened at the Service Wire Co. at 7207 North Loop East near Wayside.

The owner of the business said a man dressed in black came in and shot the employee.

The employee’s condition isn’t known.

There are unconfirmed reports that a suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

Police blocked the westbound feeder road after the shooting creating a traffic backup.
