Lawmakers review report on HPD Crime Lab

State lawmakers are getting a progress report on the Houston Police Department’s Crime Lab on Monday.

Lawmakers are meeting with an independent investigator and HPD Chief Harold Hurtt to talk about efforts to fix the problems.
