HPD: Man says Greenridge shooting was accidental

Houston police said a man told them he accidentally shot a woman in the head Thursday morning.

Amy Smith was shot early Thursday morning. David Anderson told police he was showing her the pistol when it went off.
Smith is in critical condition, and police detained Anderson for questioning.

She isn’t critical; she’s gone. My son was Amy’s step-brother. Maybe Anderson has another lousy lie I can tell my teenager.
