Houston police are looking for a man who they say walked into a Valero convenience store on West Mount Houston. He used a stolen credit card from a car burglary to buy $250 worth of cigarettes, chewing tobacco and gas. 15 CommentsLeave a comment |

come on people do you thing that the person running the station didn’t know it was stolen and charged it anyway…who goes in the a gas station and buys 250.00 dollars worth of anything…duh…..

no doubt.. money is money, stolen or not. But, I’m pretty sure I could have found somethin better to spend $250 bucks on. People amaze me.

Someone used my stolen card once. I was told by the gas station owner that they “only ask for ID” if the purchase is over $50. Right. The person that accepted the credit card just didnt’ want a confrontation so they allowed someone to buy junk for their “habit” with money that wasn’t his. Lazy clerk!
He needs to buy a big scarf and sunglasses…..of course they may mistake him for the woman robbing banks. I guess you could look for the guy with crap dripping from his mouth from all that chewing tobacco. (Of course, with the price of gas and cigarettes these days, $250 is almost a normal purchase price)

Valero is THE WORST when it comes to fraud!! They don’t care!! My checkbook was stolen and they let the jerks write them a $168 check!! Some of the stations will even cash personal checks. So $250 doesn’t surprise me at all. I hope they catch this loser.
Make the station clerk pay the money back he knew the card was stolen no one in their right mind would spend $250 dollars at a gas station unless it was a 18 wheeler and iam sure they would’nt at one time.

*** With all that tobacco the dude will soon be at the hospital door with a cancer and no insurance = health care will soon be even more unaffordable which will cost more to us, the payers.

AND by the way lets also add…
the sucker will endup in Jail sooner or later,for a couple of years, where he will cost us $90 a day which multiplied by 730 days will cost $65,700.00 plus all the legal expenses.
SERIOUSLY ! Shoot him and make sure he does not come back!
