HOUSTON–Houston police are looking for a man accused of attacking the woman he was dating with a knife. Police say that on March 4, Byron Lamar Harris arrived at the woman’s apartment and punched her. Police say Harris also tried to stab the woman, but she got away. Harris, 29, was charged with aggravated assault of a family member. The suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. Police say that his last known address is in the 8200 block of Homewood. Anyone with information on Harris’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).
