HPD looking for truck safety violators

Some truckers traveling on the East Freeway made an unexpected stop Thursday morning.

HPD’s Truck Enforcement Unit was out conducting a safety operation.

Officers inspected commercial trucks to make sure loads were secured properly and the trucks are in good working order.
