HOUSTON–Crime Stoppers and HPD investigators are asking for help solving the hit and run death of a local woman. The case centers around Rosa Martinez’ death. Police say, Martinez was standing in the driveway of a house in the 3900 block of Lee Road when she was hit. Police say that at 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 a man driving a white Chevy Suburban was traveling southbound on Hutton when he turned eastbound on Lee road, lost control of his SUV and hit Martinez. The driver kept going. Martinez died at a local hospital. Crime Stoppers offers up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of a suspect in this case.
