Group robbed leaving New Year’s bash

What was supposed to be a night of fun and celebration for several people turned out to be the scare of their life.

Police said several victims were assaulted and robbed after leaving a New Year’s party in the 8700 block of FM 2759 in Fort Bend County.
The suspects had arrived at the celebration uninvited earlier that evening and were asked to leave.
The suspects blocked the roadway preventing the victims from getting by. They then hit and kicked them before stealing their items, police said.
