Grocery store bank robber wanted

March 4, 2008

The FBI hopes someone will recognize the man in this photo, because they say he robbed the First Convenience Bank in a Kroger on Feb. 28.

It happened at the 9919 Westheimer location.
Police said at approximately 9:40 a.m., the robber entered the bank, confronted several employees and forced them into the vault area. He demanded that they hand over the available money, and the employees complied with his demands.

The robber is described to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, between 195 and 250 pounds, with a dark complexion and a five o’clock shadow. He was wearing a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, oversize black T-shirt and blue jeans.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber or any felony suspect. If you have information about this case, call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at (713) 222-TIPS.
