Police said she and friend were riding their motorcycles near Wilcrest when a white Tahoe clipped her.
She was wearing a helmet, but she died instantly. Her friend didn’t immediately realize what happened, but an anonymous person got the Tahoe’s license plate number and gave it to Houston police.
The westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway were closed for nearly three hours while police investigated.
