HOUSTON – The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is asking for help identifying the man who robbed the Region’s Bank, located at 7801 Louetta in Spring, on August 12, 2009.

The feds say that the crook walked into the bank, approached a teller, and handed her a note which stated that it was a robbery and demanded cash. The teller complied and handed the robber some cash. No gun was observed during the robbery, and no one was hurt.

The robber is described as being 28 to 32, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. Witnesses say he had a skinny build and a light complexion. He also had a blondish-brown beard and wore clear glasses, say authorities.

During the robbery, he wore a green tee-shirt, dark pants and a dark colored baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the bank robber’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS (8477) or the Houston office of the FBI at (713) 693-5000.
