On July 20, the manager at the Dave & Busters at 7620 Katy Freeway was tricked into handing over his deposits when a fake Brink’s Guard showed up. But it turns out, this guard was a robber in disguise. The manager discovered his was duped later that same afternoon, when another man dressed in a Brinks uniform came to pick up the daily deposits. When the manager said the deposit s had already been picked up, the guard said there was no scheduled pickup earlier in the day. A call to Brinks confirmed his statement. The suspected fake guard was a Black male, 5’11” tall, about 165 pounds, with a lean-to-medium build and brown eyes. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline that leads to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect in this case. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |
