Do you know the Bathroom Bandit?

January 23, 2008

The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force needs the public’s help identifying a man they call the Bathroom Bandit.

The suspect used the restroom before robbing the Chase Bank at 14400 Memorial Drive Tuesday afternoon.
At around 3:10 p.m., the Bathroom Bandit approached a teller who told him the station was closed.
Witnesses said he looked nervous. He used the restroom and then took his place in the open teller line. Once he got to the teller, he held up a note stating he had a gun.
The teller put the cash in a bag, and the bandit fled on foot.
The Bathroom Bandit is described as a black male between 24 and 27 years old. He’s around 6’1″ and has a slender build. He has a medium to dark complexion and a fade haircut.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of the Bathroom Bandit. If you have any information, call 713-222-TIPS or your local FBI office.
