HOUSTON – A convicted murderer from Montgomery County could get a new trial. Neil Robbins was convicted of killing his 17-month-old stepdaughter in 1998. During his original trial, an associate medical examiner testified the toddler had been suffocated. This year, that same doctor changed her opinion and said the death was undermined. So far, Robbins has served ten years of a life sentence. |
