Business owner shoots alleged thief

February 7, 2008

Police say a business owner in southeast Houston shot and killed a thief who was trying to drive off with one of his trailers.

It happened outside a business supply store on Reveille just before midnight.

The owner was inside sleeping when he heard a commotion and took action.

Police handcuffed the owner, but they later released him.
