Boys find body inside car

June 15, 2007

Houston police are investigating the case of a body that was found tied up inside a car in southeast Houston.

Two young boys playing outside found the body at an apartment complex in the 5600 block of Selinsky Thursday night.

The body had apparently been there in the backseat for several days.

Police aren’t sure who he is because he had no identification.

Police are not sure who the car belongs to.

It seems to be that yall made this tragic death a littlt too brief like its not a big deal.I guess i should be use to it though cause u peole dont care about what happens in the hood anyway..hes probably just another person dead in the hood to yall, but let this would have been in the white neighborhood yall would have been doing so many updates and investigations that someone would been in jail for questioning. But since its not in the white neighborhood nobody cares..well if u decide to do any updates on this story please use the e-mail i posted above thank you

I totally agree that there should be more info regarding this case. My son was devastated because he lives very close in the area. He along with quite a few neighbors had the opportunity to view the scene prior to the police, coroner, etc. arrived. The details of the body, the stench, their observations in regard to how long the car had been there were horrific. Is there enough protection?…If this situation had occurred lets say….Rice University, Katy, River Oaks, etc., yes, I agree, the coverage would have been much more extensive. I, too, am interested in the outcome.

it seems like cops in this area are more interested in misdomemer tickets than actual crime

why does everything have to be in black and white? could be that they are not able to release that much detail. it’s called investigative reporting. report incidents immediately to at least let the public know, then follow up with details. don’t be so narrow. it’s not always about “the hood”. just another unfortunate death of a human being that the news folks thought you may want to know about.

I understand that there might be some certain things that shouldn’t be posted, but a few more details would have been helpful. Instead you leave yourselves open for racial comments about the black community or the hispanic community or the white community. I guess this is how the media operates. There way of getting the communities in an up roar. They play us. Rosa

get a job and you can get out of the hood, oh i guess the white man is holding you back. dealing crack is lot easier

As long as people insist on blaming others for their own circumstances, reports like this tragic death will continue to be overshadowed by irresponsible claims of racism. Get up..learn a new song.

Tragedies are always funnier when they occur in the non-white areas. The police can sleep in and not worry about catching the killer, because another killer will kill him soon. Just another daily struggle for the dark side, killing each other while whitey holds you down and laughes at you. In the search for sympathy, we remain emptyhanded.

Stop the bitching…racial issues would stop if all the ignorant people would leave it alone.

Posted by: Sam at June 19, 2007 12:59 PM

Why is it the blacks always have to make everything racial. Maybe the news reporter was not given anymore information than the police deemed neccessary. If it was a black man another black man probably killed him over drugs are owing his dealer money.

This is not something to be arguing about over racial issues. There is a boy missing from the Pasadena Area since Thursday.. I pray it is not him and wish it on no parent… please help find the 17 year old boy missing. His name is Ryan Esparza ( no one cares what color he is — I don’t even know him, but he needs to be found !!! ) And the person found in the car needs to be properly identified so that whomever his family is can grieve properly.

Yes and there is still some racism in the world. The statements made were true. If it was in a wealthy neighborhood then we would have all of the information by now. It does not matter if he was selling drugs or owed a drug dealer money he is still a human being and it gives nobody the right to take his life. Dealing crack is not alot easier and if they put more jobs out there and stop worrying about people back grounds maybe the crime rate will be lower and individuals would not have to sell crack.
