A cold-blooded killer is on the loose and may be in the Houston area. Police are looking for 51-year-old Candy Hill Hughes for the murder of Michael Scott. The murder occurred just after midnight on June 5. Scott was talking with two other men in a friend’s driveway at 2807 Tidewater, when witnesses say a juvenile walked up and joined the conversation. The teen left and then later returned with Hughes. According to reports, Hughes simply walked up to Scott, said something to him, and then pulled a gun and shot Scott three times before walking away. The two men who were talking to Scott didn’t stick around. They ran after the first shot, but heard the other two shots. Micheal Scott, 42, was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Hughes is described as a black male who is about 5’9″ – 5’11” tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He is bald and may be driving a 1994 black Cadillac with license plate number FXR882. There is a warrant out for his arrest and Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that will lead to his arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477 if you know anything. |
