Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal stabbing that occurred on Friday’s night outside a Houston apartment complex.

Police said Rita Gail Thompson and Jarvis Ryan were drinking beer together when they got into a verbal argument. The argument then escalated into a physical fight and 43-year-old Ryan struck Thompson repeatedly with a tricycle.

A man was found dead on the railroad tracks on Monday afternoon.

The 32-year-old victim was found on the tracks near the 3900 block of Noble around 12:30 p.m. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A reward is being offered in hopes of catching a man who robbed a pair of Game Stop stores.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect took cash in armed robberies of the Game Stop in the 7000 block of Highway 6 on July 19 and again in the robbery of the franchise’s Willowbrook Mall location on July 29.

On Monday around 9:30 p.m., Jonus Edwards heard noises outside his home in Brazia County. He went outside to see what the noises were, and when he walked out his back door, he saw a 20-year-old man wearing a dark do-rag on his head and something partially covering his face.

When Edwards exited his house, the suspect ran up to him and Edwards hit the suspect in the head. The man and the Edwards began to fight, but that didn’t last long as the suspect struck Edwards in the head with a handgun.
