Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident after a man was found dead in the 4200 block of Southerland.
The man suffered a head injury. He was found around 7:10 a.m.

Police need your help finding a toy thief.
On March 29, 2008, a Hispanic male broke through the front window of a Toys R Us store in the 9600 block of the Katy Freeway.
The suspect stole a number of electronic games.
He was caught on surveillance tape.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of the suspect.

A suspected bank robber who struck twice in Houston is in the custody of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
Robert Scott Antrim reportedly confessed to four bank robberies. One was in Alabama, one in Mississippi and two in Houston.
All four tellers involved in the robberies in Houston positively identified Antrim as the culprit.
Charges are pending.

Baytown police have charged a man in the city’s second murder of 2008.
Michael Ray Baker is facing murder charges for the shooting death of Ronald Williams, 45.
Williams, a Katrina survivor, was shot at the Spring Creek Apartments Tuesday.
He later died at the hospital.
Officers arrested Baker on Friday.
